Holiday Books to Read This Month
It’s December and my TBR list is a mile long with Christmas romances and a few other holiday romances. I figured I’d put together a lazy list for you (this means it’ll just have the titles + a one-sentence blurb, but no photos.)
If you’ve got any holiday reads (romance or not) that you love to read in December or hope to read this month, be sure to share them in the comments!! This list will include books I’ve read and others that people have recommended. I haven’t vetted the whole list, so if you’re a closed-door reader only, be sure to check out the reviews to find out if there is any spice.
Most of these are available on Kindle Unlimited!
Books to read this month:
Meet Me in December by Racquel Henry (novella) - It's a heartwarming romance very much like a Hallmark Christmas movie with no explicit scenes.
The Holiday Stand-In by Kortney Kiesel - He's everything I've ever wanted. Too bad he's my boyfriend's twin brother.
Booked for the Holidays by Chelsea Curto - As the contest heats up, so do Bridget and Theo. Their theme might be ‘Home for the Holidays,’ but along the way they learn home might be a person, too.
The Fake Santa Apology Tour by Julie Olivia - Short-term flings with good looking Santas are kinda my thing.
Together With You by Leah Dobrinska - For fans of Hallmark Christmas movies comes a STANDALONE small-town holiday love story about following both your heart and your dreams.
The Rules of Mistletoe by Taylor Epperson - She's got a list of rules and he's about to break them all.
Tangled in Tinsel by Ellen Mint - Dear Santa, please leave a red-headed lumberjack under the tree. I’ve been a very good boy.
Christmas Escape Series by various authors
Just a Holiday Hangout by Katie Nelson - This holiday hangout is about to get turned upside down…royally.
Gift-Wrapped Romance by various authors
Christmas as We Know It by Sarah Sutton - Maybe all I need is the magic of a mistletoe kiss to make up my mind. Or better yet, a Christmas miracle…
A Cross-Country Christmas by Courtney Walsh - On this cross-country road trip, they’ll both discover that history doesn’t exactly repeat itself. . . but like any good Christmas carol, it does have a second verse.
Christmas in Coconut Creek by Karissa Kinword - The rules are simple: Ophelia teaches him how to date again, and Frankie shows her exactly what she should be demanding behind closed doors. Friends with benefits until the ball drops in the New Year.
The Fate Philosophy by Sarah A. Bailey - Once the holidays pass and their friends return home, Macie and Dom’s intense chemistry will fizzle out. They’ll go back to the same old frenemies they always were… right?
Call You Mine by Kendra Mase - After a night of heartbreak, small-town childhood sweethearts reconnect for a second chance to finally have their holiday happily ever after. Call You Mine is the perfect romance for readers of Emily Henry and Christina Lauren.
For You, Mr. Jones by Holly Whitworth - This steamy workplace holiday romance is full of all the things you'd want in a Christmas romantic comedy.
A World Without You by Caitlin Moss - When she goes to sleep at night, a new world wakes up, and she gets to learn what would happen if she lived in a world with the man whose heart she broke five years ago on Christmas Eve.
The Holiday Prize by Megan Reinking - Can they come together, remain strictly friends, and find a buyer for the listing? Or will the waters get muddy, blurring the lines between coworkers and something more?
Christmas at the Old Bookshop by Augusta St. Clair - She didn't expect to find love in her hometown bookstore
Yours for the Holiday by Erin Bowlen - Six years ago, she left home for the glittering allure of Hollywood, but will a return to her hometown for the holidays rekindle the love she left behind?
The Second Chance Year by Melissa Wiesner - Deep down, she doesn’t believe magic will fix her life, but taking a leap of faith, Sadie makes her wish, opens her eyes, and . . . nothing has changed. And then, in perhaps her dumbest move yet, she kisses her brother’s best friend, Jacob
